Ocean’s Thirteen (2007) - Review

I love the two previous Ocean films, and the third entry is a great back-to-basics caper. The way these films are structured themselves is part of the fun, and Ocean’s Thirteen is no different. The twist and turns, the way the heist unravels, and the humour is so much fun to watch. This has to be one of the best casts as well. George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Al Pacino, Andy Garcia, Burnie Mac! The list goes on, and they are all great. Some of the shots have sadly not aged well, with this ugly digital grain whenever it is dark. They also really under-utilized Vincent Cassel in this movie, and his twist in the story is the one part that it underwhelming. Even with those flaws, Ocean’s 13 is still a fun ride, and a great closer to the original trilogy.
