The Pentaverate (2022) - Review

Mike Myers is pretty fun, but not 3 hours fun. The comedy is very hit and miss, and by the final episodes the series forgets the laughs and begin spouting exposition you don’t care about and sequences that act like a drama rather than a comedy. None of the preaching is earned, and it feels like you wasted your time by the end. Mike Myers is still talented, there are some great gags in this especially one pool scene, but it all feels like too much for what it is. Ken Jong is especially bad in this too. Such a shame, make this a 1 hour and 20 minute film and it is a great little spoof, but sadly, we don’t live a world where movies are made, just LiMiTeD sErIeS.
